Fat Face day one saw some amazing weather, and even in the small surf produced some top surfing.
The weather forecasters got it wrong fortunately and the beach was bathed in glorious sunshine all day. The warm weather brought the crowds out in their hundreds to enjoy the entertainment.
One of the highlights of the day was the flying display by the World Famous Red Arrows, they produced an awe inspiring display that even had Lee Bartlett (commentator and top UK Surfer) wanting to don the flying jacket and take to the skies.
Today will see the finals come to it’s conclusion followed by the award ceremony all ending with a spectacular fireworks display. The hardier party goers will then head into town to continue the celebrations well into the early hours of the morning.
And you can watch this on www.focusworx.com where today we will be doing a new twist on the internet broadcasting. We will commentate TO the internet, so you get the feel of what is going on. Currently the commentary is aimed at the beach spectators and this we feel is not so good for the internet viewers, so let’s see if we can make it a better experience. This should be sometime this afternoon. We are also starting a Message service for you, if you want your message displayed on the video stream, then simply send an e mail. Let us know if the message is for the beach or the broadcast, and we will endeavour to get the message through.
