This years English Nationals are being held at Watergate Bay Newquay, Cornwall. The sponsors of the event are HEADWORX. This is one big event, 24 categories to keep the crowds entertained throughout the competition. The event starts on Saturday 6th of May running over the Bank Holiday weekend. This is going to be a tough assignment with so many sections to cover, and reportedly up to 4 heats will be run at the same time, giving me little chance of covering all of it, but I shall try. I have spoken to the organiser and we are in discussion as to whether to cover the event in photography or in video? Big decision. I have not made the final choice yet as I need to put together the site for streaming video if I chose that media. One good thing is the offer of transporting me around on top of the organisers vehicle, this is great as it gives me a great vantage point to film or photograph from.

Again this site will carry the video and or photos from the competition, little snippets of news and will be updated on a daily basis over the competition period. So feel free to bookmark the site and send any feedback, but going on the quantity of mails from the last competition, it will take a little while to respond.

So readers, come back and enjoy the Headworx English Surfing Competition 2007.
