But if you are, we had a good evening last night the French guys brought a whole
load of food, more than we could all eat. The drink flowed and old friends got to know each
other again. Many of the team members are old adversaries.

Today we just totally chilled, visited the local lighthouse overlooking Domes where we think
tomorrows heats will be held.
We got taken to breakfast by the Police Commissioners friend, and met the Mayor over Coffee
and Doughnuts.
We saw Dolphins, Manatees, Orial Birds, Pelican, Frigate Birds, and just a host of the finer side
of Rincon.

Tonight is our final quiet night as it is back to work tomorrow photographing the remaining heats.

So I want to take this opportunity to thanks some people here in Puerto Rico who have made
great efforts to make our stay here as comfortable and enjoyable as it should be

The Villa Cofresi where some of us are staying. If you ever visit here, this is the ideal place to
stay. Located right on the beach, where it is safe for children to swim. The rooms are great, all air conditioned
and the Management are totally committed to making their guests happy.
The rest of the team stayed in the Coconut Palms Inn just 5 minutes walk from the Villa Cofresi, and another fine hotel.
This one offers large comfortable self catering apartments with stunning views out to sea. And a special mention
to Angel who has worked so hard helping the British Team relax and enjoy their stay!

Thanks Angel, from all the team.

So tonight we shall chill and Jed is cooking a barbie for us, and “OLD JD” himself has promised to come round and
help the party get going.

To all at home, here are a few photos

Kevin, of course we are still reading your articles, we wouldnt desert the team
now, we are all committed to them and want them to know that. We are not
fair weather friends we will be with you all till you pull the plug. Lesleys looking
nice and suntanned and tell David he can get that beard shaaved off!!!! Glad that
you all had a good time with the French guys, that is how it should be. Your rest
day seems to have gone very well, touring round and having fun. Also your
teaparty with the local dignitaries. They will remember your graciousness in
defeat and in the warmth of your friendship long after the unpleasantries. You
have each and everyone of you been great ambassadors for the sport of surfing
and models for the up and coming youngsters that are following in your wake.
Good luck to the Puerto Ricans & South Africans that are left in? should be a good final
and get some good photos

Morning chaps! All seems to have got a tad out of hand and a lot of mud slinging in progress! At the end of the day everyone in the competition should be proud of themselves for being outstanding in their sport and given the chance to represent their country, and i guess its a tough job for the isa to find an overall winner especially as a lot of this has to be down to the luck with the waves. You all know how good you are and thats all that matters and you have done us proud! Finally Iwould like to wish the remaining teams the best of luck lets hope its a good fair competition and the atmoshere peaceful and chilled like the sport should be!

I am still reading your articles Kevin and looking at the pictures, as well as many of my friends here in Canada who I have bragged to about my great nephews and their accomplishments. Enjoy the rest of the competition. May the best and fairest team win. Enjoy the remainder of your days in Puerto Rico and have a safe and pleasant trip back to England. Hi to Lesley and Julie.
