WOW!
At last after all the hanging around sitting on our elbows (some of us dont know our ar5es from our elbows) doing nothing but sipping Bacardi and lounging around the beach it has arrived. We left at 6:30 expecting the usual wind swell. As we neared Domes where the comp is to be held we could see defined swell lines, something we hadn’t seen since back in Britain. So the lads, who were slighlty the worse for wear (late nights talking about surf tactics and drinking HUGE quantities of the local beverage, you know the one that has a bat as it’s logo?). the waves were not huge, but we could see that it was the front of what we were waiting for. That session was eclipsed by the Girls surfing, and they were GOOD, check out the video clip Lads!
Later on, after registration for the event, where we were told that the money for our competition fees had not been sent by the BSA :-( COME ON SOMEONE SEND US SOME MONEY, WE ARE POOR AND NEED IT!
Anyway, later on we went back for another session, and this time the swell was full on, the sea looked like corregated iron, swell lines as far as the eye could see. So much so that domes was closed out and we had to come back round the coast to “Skull Rock Certain Death Break” or whatever the surfers call it. It was big, to me a layman in Surfing, there is no way I would venture out into that, even with water wings on, these guys are mad in the head. Anyway the place was packed, the South Africans were there, they all had rash vests with “South Africa” written on, we just have old, frayed ones because no one has sent us any money :-(
The lads had a great time, except Daz who has a problem with the board he was using, but speaking to him last night he will be using his spare tomorrow so we should be able to post some good photos of him ripping into those waves.

till then this is Kevin Stone, sat drinking Tea and eating crispy coconut marshmallows with a hint of lemon signing off

OK this is REAL TIME I have just posted this page and the Video of the Chicks surfing is being done now, I have to hurry as the lads will be calling round in a minute shouting at me to get the cameras sorted, but they have forgotten that I have sprained my shoulder when I picked up a rather large glass of Bacardi last night. And do they care? No :-)
Yep they are shouting there heads off at me, I have finished the video and Dago my main admin man will sort it out for you, till then gotta go to the beach
