So far our stay has been remarkably good, I cannot stress how friendly the local people we have met so far have been. The language barrier does not exist. Lesley speaks a smattering of Spanish, the rest of us speak none, but most people speak English, and when they realise we are NOT American, but British, there attitude changes form stand offish to open armed friendly. I don’t know what the Americans have done to upset the Puerto Ricons? Maybe they have all flow with Continental Airlines (who I wont mention again, b@st@rds).
We have our Union Jack flags flying from the cars, and this has made a difference when driving. The problem here is the cars are on the wrong side of the road, and the steering wheel is on the passenger side, so when turning left pf right confusion reigns,
But the sight of those Union Jacks normally causes the traffic to stop and friendly waves from other drivers to let us through. Bless them! Thanks for that!
The team managed to get a surf in, this was after 26 hours travelling with little or no sleep, so it was more a “wash the travel out” surf than anything serious.
We headed off to Domes where there was a reasonable 4 foot wind swell and the guys let loose. We should have better sessions tomorrow when the gys have had a decent nights sleep.
We all met up last night for a few beers before retiring for the night. Daz reckons he is getting up at 6am for a run on the beach, all the way to Domes which must be 3 miles at least. Me, I will just drink 8 cups of tea to wake me up. Cameras and running don’t mix really!
Well this posting is a day late, we were so tired last night, but from now on they should be daily updates.
Till then readers, this is Kevin Stone sat in Rincon Puerto Rico sat on the balcony 25˚C sipping tea, dressed only in my baggies and flip flops signing off, by the way it is hard work being here ☺

Hi All
Good luck to you all and happy surfing (especially to my biggest brother). To my smallest brother ‘The Roving Reporter’ next time you go I could come as your PA (make the tea, that sort of thing)
Love
Boobsie
