Well the British Masters Surfing Team is all ready, primed like a loaded gun, ready to pitch their Surfing skills against the rest of the world, in the World Masters Surfing Competiton (as if you didn’t know), And are we proud? YES!
These Surfers have given up a lot to concentrate on bringing home some of the most prestigious titles in the Surfing world.
I ask you, our valued readers, to continue to support our website by logging in and reading the daily updates, and follow our mighty “Best of British” surfers from the build up, to the competition, that starts on 20th January all the way till the end, where we should be lifting those trophies to the resounding music of our National Anthem.
Remember you will see it first here. Each day you can see the pick of the surf videos and the top photos of our lads doing their best for our country.

We fly from Gatwick on Monday at 12 noon UK time, so we expect a good send off from the airport, Royal Marine Band, ticker tape and maybe a firework display?
But maybe we should just settle for the normal rigmarole of the check-in desk and curly edged out of date sandwiches?

This is Kevin Stone, half my packing done, signing off (till we get to a network connection in Puerto Rico, I guess that should be Tuesday, don’t give up on us)
for now!

Take care and wish the Lads all the best!

You’ve probably just arrived in Puerto Rico. Good luck to all the members of the British Masters Surfing Team, especially my nephew David. I’ll be watching the website with interest.

Good luck folks! Hope the surfing goes well and the spiders don’t jump out at you too much! Looking forward to hearing more. Hope you get some great video and picture coverage.
